How and where to find us

  • Directions from Stroud
    • Leave Stroud on the A419, heading towards Cirencester. Two and a half miles outside of Stroud take a right turn, which is signposted Burleigh & Minchinhampton. This right turn leads you up the side of a hill, after a further 500yds there is a sharp left turn, signposted Burleigh Court, but extremely easy to miss. Take the left turn and we are on the right after a further 300yds.

Note - Stroud may be reached by taking Junction 13 off the M5.

  • Directions from Cirencester
    • Leave Cirencester on the A419, heading towards Stroud. Approximately 10 minutes after leaving Cirencester, take the first exit off the roundabout which is signposted Aston Down and Minchinhampton. Stay on this road - Minchinhampton Town is off to your left, but ignore it, we are not actually in the Town. Continue along this road where Minchinhampton Common opens up on your left. It is a huge piece of common grazing land, so you cannot miss it. Once you have the Common on your left, proceed and take the second turning on your right, signposted Burleigh Court (on a small crossroads with Dr Browns Road to your left). Once you have turned right it is a matter of just keeping the faith - this is a narrow country lane which drops you down the side of the hill, and over a cattle grid and just as you are about to give up and turn back, you will see us on the left hand side.

Note - Cirencester can be reached by taking Junction 15 off the M4 or along the M40 via Burford & Bibury.

Occasionally we have found that some satellite navigation systems will not find us by using our postcode, however they do seem to recognise "Spinney Court" which is a small cluster of houses situated just below the Hotel.
